Although Boris’s old man and myself are both well-known writers and storytellers, that’s where the similarity ends. He writes books and I use my creativity to solve business problems, build brands, make advertising and generally do things a little differently.
For many years I was an award winning Creative Director at agencies in Melbourne and London, including JWT, Proximity, FCB, Wunderman and Cummins & Partners.
About 10 years ago I sought new and bigger challenges, becoming the creative director of one of Australia’s original tech start-ups, and for the last five years I’ve been a partner in a boutique creative consultancy.
As a Creative Director I’ve removed brown cardigans, made magic with Dustin Martin and even launched a brand in space.
I’m a copywriter by trade specialising in enticing words that engage, ignite desire and generally get people excited about stuff.
I’ve created brands, reinvented brands and drove the brand transformation for Australia’s Most Innovative Large Company.
Although I hate the word content I’ve yet to find a better one. I’ve made films, created magazines and chatted on podcasts.
I’ve been dabbling on the web since it was the information superhighway and was active in social long before Elon Musk ruined it.
